Bro. C. Vijayaraj Prabaharan

“Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any scorching heat” (Rev. 7:16). Bro. C. Vijayaraj Prabaharan was born as the first son to the God-fearing couple Mr. Chelliah David and Mrs. Santham David of Sawyerpuram, Tuticorin district on 31.03.1954. He was introduced to the Vishwa Vani ministry by Emil Annan in 1980, being one among the pioneer leaders. He was appointed to take care of the social development projects in the interior villages of South Tamilnadu. When he was called to uphold the mission in unreached interior villages of North India, he happily accepted His call and served as a development worker for full time. He was one among those who prayed together when Vishwa Vani was born at the Hare Island in Tuticorin. He also took much effort in the formation of Dhyana Nilayam in Palaverkadu and accomplished great works for the Lord.

When the approach of Savings Boxes was introduced, he carried them to many districts in Tamil Nadu. When Bro. S.G.P. Bhominathan went to be with the Lord on 21 October 1992 Bro. C.V.Prabaharan took charge as the State Coordinator for Tamil Nadu. He mobilized prayer at the churches in Tamil Nadu and has played a remarkable role in the development of ministry and so his ministry was fruitful!

During the days when he established the offices in Tuticorin, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore and Chennai, the weekly and monthly planning meetings of representatives and workers attained new height. The sweat that he shed during the State and District Camps yields its results even today in Tamil Nadu. His messages were filled with the love of God. It inspired the believers towards the gospel work. He shared the love of the father to all the missionaries who visited Tamil Nadu for ministry purposes.

He also voiced for the radio messages in the 1990s. He was simple at heart, clean in work, strict and caring, firm in his decisions, honoring the pastors, evangelists, and representatives. He was clear in words and humble in life. Praying in knees, praying with tears, a heart that never gave up faith, a foot that traveled day and night for ministry, face filled with love all belong to him. SEPTEMBER 2020 Vishwa Vani Samarpan 02 On 16.07.2020, he shared the Word of God through video conferencing with the coworkers from Exodus 14:14. It is still in our hearts!

As he developed pneumonia, and his respiratory system became weak. Even after getting well from pneumonia, he suffered respiratory problems. He entered into glory on 6 August 2020. For the day of resurrection, he was sown in Kasi Medu Burial Ground in Chennai with the prayers of few Vishwa Vani workers and his family members.

The beautiful feet that started its faith walk from Hare Island has walked for 40 years and is now resting at the shore in Chennai.

Please pray for Mrs. Vijaya Prabhakaran and the families of three children Daniel, Samuel, and Jeba, and also for consolation oftheVishwaVanifamily.

We are comforted by the verse “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).

May his descendants receive the peace and honor from the Lord!
