Paidaram Reang, the former village leader of Joshmurakami village of Tripura shares his born-again experience in Christ: “I was a staunch believer in the heathen faith up to the age of 75. Though I gave all the sacrifices every year without fail, my shortcomings were not set right! Our hearts abided in poverty. My wife without peace in heart was also addicted to alcohol. Hence confusions kept increasing in our home! I came to know through Pastor Peter Reang that with Jesus, the Saviour nothing is impossible. The gospel made us alive. The life that we desired for 28 years came to us through Jesus. Through the changes that happened in me when I accepted Jesus, my family members and my neighbours – all together 8 people confessed their new faith on 16.11.10. Till now, we have conducted two faith confession services in our village. At this ripe age, I desire that the entire village must come to Jesus. I thank all those who sent workers to our village and I praise God Almighty.
