Jharkhand is popularly known as Vananchal (meaning land of woods). The state of Jharkhand was carved out from the state of Bihar on November 15, 2000. The date is important as it also marks the birth anniversary of the legendary Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
The state capital is Ranchi, which is also the industrial city of the state. Jharkhand shares its border with the states of Bihar to the north, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the west, Orissa to the south, and West Bengal to the east.
Jesus in the Inside working on the Outside OH! What a change in my life…
I have studied up to 5th standard and my desire is to earn quickly and easily; I used to brew illicit liquor when I was very young! In the due course, I was addicted to it and lost everything! My income stopped and scarcity became permanent! The words of the magicians who said ‘Come to me with your goats and cows, your state will change’ pushed me to the worse! The Pastor Amren Kandulna came to our village to proclaim ‘There is rest in Jesus for all those who are heavy laden and there is deliverance for all those who approach Him’. I clung to this gospel through faith. Today, my family along with my relatives have known Jesus and we are worshiping Him! The yoke of addiction was broken by the blood of Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! – Vijay Hembrom
