Jammu and Kashmir came into being as a single political on March 16, 1846. This is the northernmost state of India. It is situated mostly in the Himalayan mountains. Jammu and Kashmir shares a border with the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab to the south and internationally with China to the north and east and the Pakistani administered territories of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, to the west and northwest respectively. Formerly a part of the erstwhile princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, this territory is disputed among China, India and Pakistan. Jammu and Kashmir consists of three regions: Jammu, the Kashmir valley and Ladakh. Srinagar is the summer capital, and Jammu, its winter capital. While the Kashmir valley, often known as Paradise on Earth, is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape, Jammu's numerous shrines attract tens of thousands of Hindu and Muslim pilgrims every year. Ladakh, also known as "Little Tibet", is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and Buddhist culture.

Vishwa Vani  Ministries in Jammu & Kashmir 
The ministries of Vishwa Vani in Jammu & Kashmir is growing At present there are 34 Field Workers are working in 21 Web Centers, and reaching 113 Villages.

There are 90 Bible Study Groups and 605 Baptized Believers. The believers are  worshiping in 40 Worship Groups. One church is constructed.  7 churches have to be constructed and 17 type3 Workers are to be trained

Jesus Christ is My Life!

I am Biro Devi and I resides in Bari Brahmna village in Jammu and Kashmir. My house was filled with sadness due to the sickness that tormented me. We sought the help of magicians to identify the disease that made me faint while I was standing! Ambulance was needed often to carry me to the hospital. Ram Krishna Mahapatra came in search of us when we were troubled with sadness, poverty and financial crisis. Having tried all the means, the worker challenged us to pray in the name of Jesus. When he explained the verse that everything is possible with Jesus, my faith increased! When I started praying, the sickness in my body started disappearing. Today, I do not need an ambulance. To all those who come and inquire of me, my only request to them is to open their heart to Jesus.                                         - Biro Devi
